BOOOOOM

Explosion effect for that CHESTER WIGGLEBOOM game. Its what it does when you shoot with that bazooka of his. Its my best explosion attempt so far, I think! Learned a lot while doing this. Its a few months old now.

Its sort of too fast I know. The smoke should take a few more seconds to dissipate than it does right now, but, as its the effect of the game's normal weapon, I thought I should make it a bit shorter so it doesn't fill up the screen too fast. The game's resolution being 320*240, this effect is pretty huge on-screen!

The sprite is a little cut because of the weird gif size restrictions of dA, but what is cut isnt much. Download the file to see the 50-or-so pixels missing at the top.

I looked at actual explosions and also used lots of the real cool pixel animation found in the metal slug games as reference.

I made another explosion attempt a few months earlier that ill probably put up later.
